As one might expect, the D430 looks like a small D620 - it looks like Dell is keen to keep the same styling across various models, much like the IBM ThinkPads. There's definitely nothing wrong with the Latitude styling - the matt sliver and black finish has a minimalist look to it that should please the corporate masses. It's also pretty light at 1.49kg with the standard battery, while even with the extended battery attached, the D430 only weighs in at 1.67kg. With dimensions of 294 x 210 x 25mm (WxDxH) it's not too big either

Great little laptop for the price!

Cheapest price I was able to find online on this site! Laptop works great and exactly what I was looking for. It's light but very well built and the wear-and-tear is kept to the bare minumun with very few and light scratches. Battery works alot better than expected as well, lasting between and hour to two hours on light to moderate use. Specifications are spot on, and actually mine came with a bigger hard drive than advertised! All in all I'm very happy with my purchase! Customer service was also great, and delivery was well within the limit as expected.

Great little laptop!

I wanted a small laptop to carry around and this fitted my requirements perfectly! I didn't want to go for an underpowered & expensive netbook with a smaller, lower resolution screen and an optical drive wasn't necessary for me. This machine runs very well, is well built and for the price was quite a steal!
